Some of the most special moments in my life happened in this wonderful month! Mark those dates!:)
February 2010
February 4Happy Birthday Rizza Marie A. An!
February 7Happy Birthday Father Aldrin A. Alcantara!
February 12Happy Birthday Brene Joseph N. Luz & John Oliver Banas! (bought cakes for them!)
February 13Junior & Senior Promenade 2010
Facts: - Regent Hotel, 5:30 p.m. Juniors & Seniors. Theme? Not that I knew it.
- The occasion's dress code was a hot issue that time. Of course, I cared to bother 'cause it's one special night to ignore. Luckily, all went well. Everybody came with decent clothes. All tried to wear their best, and it worked 'cause everyone looked fabulous! By all means, one went controversial as she had the guts to repeat a certain outfit. Oh well, forget it.
- Ms. Alma Mater 2010 - the title I wore that night! It was, I think, 2 weeks before prom when they told me and I was totally SHOCKED, to the point that I questioned the teacher's criteria. (Joke!) But really, because of some issues that time, I never expected it. I'm just thankful & happy, and that time, I really anticipated that this would be the best prom I'll ever have, and I'll make it possible. HARD.
- Preparing my speech that night was difficult. Just hearing the name, 'Batch Will and Testament' felt like a heavy responsibility on my part. I'm just glad I delivered it well on behalf of all my batchmates. Yey! (Btw, what's the purpose of letting the seniors stand while I speak? Weird!)
- My generous mom spent a fortune for my two dresses. And FYI, they were customized & bought. Imagine! Well, I just talked through her telling her that this would be the last time plus I was one of the special people that night so I really have to look gorgeous! LOL.
- They loved my eyes, and it looks like I did too! Ashley commented once on her blog of how she admired it, and several others as well. I just blushed and it somehow had an effect to my head. I never imagined that they would be that surprised with what I looked like that night. Cheers! (Thanks to Kuya William & Nico for my hair & make-up! They're the best! Their 30-minute hard work paid off.)
- It's the first time for me to join the Cotillion Dance and I was nervous. First time. Dancing. People. Stage. Last to be called. Waaahh! I'm glad I pulled it off.
- I would like to thank my handsome partners that night. Jay Bongalonta (Escort), Brene Joseph Luz (1st dance partner), Amiko Bonacua (last dance partner). Thanks for taking care of me.
- The prom turned into tons of pictorial sessions. Right after dinner, almost all brought their cameras & all I could see were flashes of light coming from just about anywhere (though I felt guilty about that.:]]). I think it lasted for about an hour. Great that some thought of leading others to the dance floor. Partteeyy!
- I loved seeing my friends so dressed up & proper for the night. No doubt! Naguenians not only have the brains, but the beauty as well! Moreover, no one could ever deny how dashing our mentors were. "May pinagmanahan."
- I forgot something that night. I hope he understands. It's not easy being a girl. HAHA;))
- Guilt. Chocoholics, soo sorry:(. I lost track of time. Too bad we haven't got a photo. Pft! I hate myself!
- I got pissed off for quite a moment. I know that it's not her fault and she isn't used to that kinds of things. Like what Micah always say, 'I didn't hated her. I hated the situation.'
- I loved the jelly roll on the menu! I had two! The foods were YUMMY! But I haven't eaten much. My dress could blow up. *laughs*
- Cute souvenirs! A dog tag & a red, heart-shaped fuzzy wire.
- Wardrobe emergency! It served as a lesson for me to try first my clothes before wearing them on a particular occasion to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. My dress NEARLY revealed something that shouldn't be seen while I was dancing. Good heavens! And then the story of the safety pin begins.
- I was the LAST one to be fetched by my 'sundo'. I was already waiting for almost an hour just to know that the driver was waiting too! HAHA. Sighs. Thanks to the HCB who waited with me, and for not leaving me there, alone, so early in the morning.
- Next thing I knew, it was already Valentine's Day. Happy Hearts!
- Because of the enormous fun I had, it's already late when I gave my hurting feet some attention. Curse those heels! (Speaking of heels, I also bought two of them to match the dress but I just wore one. I'll save the other.)
- My cousin came along with me. When we arrived, everyone was asleep. Croo. Croo. Thanks Yves!
- The night was fantastic! But when everyone woke up the next morning, only memories remained, and the rest was history.
