and the worst part was...

Earlier this day, one of, perhaps, the worst disasters in my life unexpectedly happened.

The SHAME!tsktsk.

So I prepared for this competition like big time! For almost a week, I was bothered about studying and researching for the 'science and technology trivia' contest thinking that the competition would be tough. I would have to be excused from class just to review, and the sleepless nights, causing stress and sagging eye bags, have been part of my habit already. That's how hard I worked; that's how determined I am.

We had last-minute recaps before going to SM (the contest venue). We arrived early. Fascinating & informative stalls featuring products & innovations from all parts of the region almost covered the mall's activity area. Though we were amused by the stalls, my nervousness grew as the time for the competition nears.

After some time, the program started; not later, the trivia quiz. As the quiz master read the rules, there was something that struck us hard. "Anyone can join! Come and participate! You'll have 2 minutes to submit your answers. Those who'll get the question correctly, your names will be RAFFLED to identify the winners; therefore, this is more of a GAME of LUCK!"

I mean, what was that?! I thought this was one of those traumatic, brain-cracking quiz games. But it only turned out to be a plain, humorous game. I was heavily dumb-founded. Sir Jonatz was right - it's nakakaimbyerna! I almost cried.

This only means that things really aren't the way we thought they were. There's always a possibility that things would go wrong - that they wouldn't happen according to our expectations. Even so, although I'm quite disheartened, I still practice my supposed attitude - and that's optimism.

I'm still grateful that I was able to experience that kind of scenario. It'll surely be a comical memory
Mr. Greedy has taken over me. And I'm sorry. I was dumb to do that. I've realized it. Now, I know what I'll do.
