miserable at best - mayday parade

Discoveries:

I dislike mornings. Waking up is a suffering. Bruises plus pain equates to agony.

Fooling around would do no good. Discipline.

Dressing up is my biggest problem. My closet becomes a pile of laundry after countless try-ons.

I like some time of my own. I enjoy the peace and quiet all by myself, BUT I'm not used to being left alone.

It was the first time that I lacked fare for transportation because of shopping.^-^

Now, I have the reason to avoid her.

I'm trying to do things simultaneously. I hope I could get the best from doing them.

Music helps in fast recovery.

Congratulations Naguenians! JOB WELL DONE!

After weeks of intense, hard-core, skin-frying, ear-deafening, and coach-mocking band practices & competitions, the DLMO members are now having the time of their lives spending the fiesta vacation not with instruments and batons, but probably slumbering on a soft, cushiony bed in an air-conditioned room or perhaps doing their own favorite hobbies.

We competed thrice, at Calabanga, and twice here in Naga, but unfortunately, I guess our weeks of preparation aren't enough for us to garner the top spot. Most of my friends were deeply saddened by this, bearing in mind that they were champions for the past two years. On one side, I kept quiet. I don't want to join the drama scenes going on. I'm not in the position to weep or mourn over some 2nd place. I didn't feel bad 'cause our performances had put a great impact on our audience & on ourselves as well, and for me, that's the true measure of entertainment and the true criterion for garnering the top title.

We always have GREAT, GREAT fun! Before every performance, we would give last-minute reminders on our movements, choreography, or just about non-sense things on which we would easily laugh about. Not to mention our boisterous chuckles whenever we gossip or joke around our hypertensive & irritable trainor. *nyahahaha*

What made each performance memorable?

Because of the space shortage we've witnessed in Calabanga, it's not a sin to bump on others and to be bumped on. :)

The best and worst happenings at the DLC Competition. Best 'cause most said that our performance was near to perfect, and worst, for some, 'cause we broke the 'grandslam' streak.

The DLMO experience was extraordinary. It's an undertaking I won't ever regret. My skin color might change, but the moments I had with the band were simply irreplaceable. We may not be the best to the judges but the great thing was we're at our bests in each and every performance we make.

birthday ni ITLOG na PULA! sabay sila ni mama Mary. pero mukhang hindi man lamang siya naimpluwensyahan ng katahimikan nito. hha. biro lamang. at least, masasabi kong mabait naman si itlog na pula at saka may kahinhinan rin kaya pwede na. Maligayang Kaarawan ulit sa'yo!

Hindi dahil pare-pareho ang numero ng petsa ngayon, may kakaiba nang penomenon ang mangyayari. Naging normal lang naman ang lahat, kaya nga medyo nakakabagot na kasi paulit-ulit lang naman ang mga kaganapan bawat araw eh. Hindi ko naman hinihiling na sana'y may mangyaring kakaiba. Baka kasi matrauma ako bigla. Sana lang maging kapana-panabik ang bawat araw ko. Ngunit paano naman kaya 'yun?*tsk*

Pumunta rin kami sa isang 'napakalayong' lugar - mga 1 kilometrong layo mula sa paaralan. Napagod nga kami sa biyahe eh. Doon kami nag-ensayo - ensayo na nauwi sa wala. Malapit na kasi ang paligsahan, at malaki ang inaasahan sa grupo kaya todo praktis naman kaming lahat. Medyo naging magulo. Kasi naman, hindi maayos-ayos ang sayaw. Wala pa yung trainor naming 'gwapo'.hai. Lagot! Ito na kaya ang sinasabing kapana-panabik? hha. Pero di bale, nandyan naman si Bro.

Kaarawan naman ngayon ng pangulo! Hindi ni GMA kundi ng pangulo ng Slytherin - kaarawan ngayon ni SHEILA. Napaka-thoughtful talaga ng aming grupo. Nagtanghalian kami nang sabay-sabay sa silid para ipagdiwang ang kaarawan ng pinuno ng klase. Nakakatouch. Ganyan kasi talaga kami. Mahal namin ang isa't isa.;)

Nag-ensayo ulit kami doon sa malayong lugar na kabababanggit ko lamang. Ngunit, sa kasamaang palad, biglang bumuhos ang malakas na ulan, kaya naman mahigit isang oras kaming nakasilong. Sinamahan pa kami ng mga makukulit na bata. (pasaway!) Sa mga panahon ring iyon ako nakakita ng isang 'artipisyal' na ibong lumilipad. Nakakaaliw! Parang bumalik tuloy ako sa pagkabata.:p

Matapos ang ulan, nag-ensayo na rin kami. Kahit may dramahan, naging maayos naman ang praktis kasi nandyan na ang gwapong trainor namin. Yun nga lang, marami na naman ang nainis. hhe. Gabi na rin kami noong nakauwi. Pinaiwan pa yung mga nagtatambol. Mas kailangan kasi nila ang ensayo. Nanatili pa ring malamig ang hangin at maulap ang kalangitan sa mga oras na iyon, kaya abot tenga na naman ang ngiti ko:]

Ngayon ang kapyestahan ni Nuestra Senora de Penafrancia. Maulan. Gusto ko sanang sumama dahil sa tanang buhay ko, hindi pa ako nakakapagprosesyon kasama si Ina. Hindi ko naman alam kung bakit napili ko pang magmukmok dito sa bahay - sarap na sarap kumain ng Del Monte Pineapple Chunks at painom-inom pa ng Nestea Real Leaf Green Tea. hai. Sana ligtas ang lahat ng deboto ni Ina. Ang lakas kasi ng hangin at ulan. Mahirap na magkasakit sa mga panahong ito. Pero kahit magkagayon, alam kong may isang taong tuwang-tuwa sa araw na ito. Ito kasi ang araw na pinakahihintay niya sa buong taon. Kung mababasa mo ito, kumusta naman ang iyong panata? (Alam mo na kung sino ka.) hha.

*wah!*I almost forgot to post things about my 'bonggang birthday bash' last September 2 (Wednesday) [my best b-day celebration so far!love it!]. Just to refresh them, let me start.

EARLY MORNING

As I arrived, everything was not much of a fuss; normal as I would describe it. Not until I entered Slytherin's door, that I was greeted by my classmates early enough to go to school. A few minutes later, they were getting plentier. Almost everyone gave his/her birthday greetings. The remark at RND where my 'cute' name got mentioned heightened my expectations for the day. Things are just getting started.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONGS

The class sang the birthday song a couple of times whenever possible, and I appreciated it a lot. There were a number of friends who, as well, greeted me along the way. THANKS GUYS! All efforts were HIGHLY appreciated.

SURPRISES!weee!

* unexpected guests - A lot greeted me a happy birthday - even friends who are not that close to me. I won't consider them FC. I would rather say they're just friendly. [Thanks as well!]

* pink and blue writing pad with greetings from each house of Hogwarts. (I never expected it!As soon as I got home, I read them immediately, and I enjoyed it, a lot!)

* the band's connivance with drummer boy - It was the highlight of all. I never really anticipated it. All the time, I was innocent w/o knowing that I, too, played along. Although I had a feeling in my bones, still, my mind never fathomed that it would be so. THANK YOU SO MUCH![especially to all accomplices. Nice acting there! Fool's Day had been early for me this year; also to the mastermind:)*lol*]

*my sweet 16 with CHOCO - They are the best! I wouldn't deny it. They always put the icing on top of my cake. I actually felt that it was my day - that I was like a princess or perhaps a movie star. ILOVEYOUALL*mwh*
